This ‘Miura’ Random Access Analyzer manufactured by M/s. Logotech, Italy can perform 300 photometric tests per hour for up to 49 parameters. The new machine which is formally put to use in October, 2008 is a big leap forward in fulfilling our commitment to provide quality modern facilities to the under privileged.
Operating ENT Microscope : ENT surgeries using Microscope started in the Sevashrama Hospital by the end of 2001 when a new operating microscope was acquired. The Microscope is still in working condition though its Lens vision quality declined and technology become some what obsolete. Under this circumstance when Sri Sriram Beriwala of Vrindaban came forward to donate any new equipment to the Sevashrama we opted for a new state of the Art Technology Operating Microscope and an LCD screen in June, 2008.

A new Tens and computerized Ultrasonic combination machine was also added; all with the help of a kind herated donor of Mumbai.
Laundry Unit : The Hospital linens are being washed in accordance with the high hygiene standard expected in the modern period since 2002 using an electric laundry unit. The ever benevolent Somani Foundation of Delhi came forward with the helping hand in acquiring a new unit with 75 kg. capacity washing machine. The specialty of this unit is that apart from a higher washing capacity, the drying machine of this unit is operated using steam thereby cutting down the cost of electricity considerably. This unit was installed in the month of March, 2009.
Ambulance : In the whole of Mathura District shifting a critical patient to a higher centre in Agra or Delhi comfortably with monitoring facilities, was a big problem. Only small Maruti Omni ambulances which has very basic facility, are available here. That problem was solved when Sri Lalwani ji of Mumbai decided to donate one such Ambulance to the Sevashrama in 2008. Ambulance was purchased in March, 2009 and the Sevashrama fitted a multipara monitor and a suction machine in the new vehicle and made it ready for a better shifting experience of critical patients to higher centers in Agra or Delhi. The Ambulance was officially inaugurated in a solemn function by Srimat Swami Vimalananda ji Maharaj, President of the Divine Life Society, Rrishikesh.
Passenger Vehicle : A very close devotee of Sri Ramakrishna and a sincere well-wisher of the Mission activities, Smt. Shakuntala Venkatakrishnappa of Bangalore donated a Maruti Versa Van to the Sevashrama in October 2008.
Silent Generator : Another silent generator was also commissioned in the Sevashrama this year in July. This 125 KVA generator was the donation of Indian Oil Corporation through its Mathura Refinery Unit. With this, we have two brand new silent generators. The other one is of 140 KVA commissioned late last year with the donation of ever benevolent Smt. Kunjalata S. Patel, Mumbai. Now we can expect a hassle free power backup supply through out. |

Orphan Patients : A lot of patients without any attendant or address even are admitted in the Hospital every other day. Vrindaban is a cherished Pilgrimage Centre. Many people, especially in their old age, come here to live for their rest of life. Sometimes they suffer a pitiable end dropping sick at Dharamasalas, Ashramas or even at road sides. Invariably they are brought to the Sevashrama and we try to provide them whatever we could to alleviate their suffering. Some recover and go back to their dwellings gratefully. But some old ones don’t make it. We arrange their last rites near Yamuna or at the electric crematorium in Mathura. The period under consideration witnessed 12 orphan mortalities.
Blood Bank : Obtaining Blood from a relative or attendant for a patient in our Hospital or for that matter in the whole region is still a problem.
